Application & Removal

How to Apply & Remove

Using Velour Multi-Day Lash Bond for Multi-Day Wear (underneath natural lashes)

Prepare Your Lashes: Begin by thoroughly cleaning your natural lashes - no oils, mascara, concealer, skincare products or makeup of any kind around the eye area. We recommend using Velour Lash Clean.

Lash application starts from the outer corner of the eye.

Step 1: Apply Multi-Day Lash Bond (A) across the top of Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Cluster and (B) to underside of natural lashes, ensuring not to touch the skin. Wait until tacky (10-15 seconds). Pro Tip: Focus bond application on the base of your natural lashes, close to the waterline on the underside of your upper lashes.

Step 2: Once the bond has become tacky, use the applicator tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to place the Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Cluster on the tacky underside of your natural lashes, right above the waterline. Pro Tip: Lift the eyelid up with your fingertips to help the lash band reach the base of your lashes. Use the angled tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to gently press Velour-Xtension™ Lash Clusters into the root of your natural lashes.

Step 3: Using the applicator tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool, follow the curvature of your lash line to clamp down and fuse the Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters and natural lashes together to secure. Repeat steps 1 - 3 for remaining clusters. Pro Tip: Wipe the Too Real Lash Extension Tool in-between cluster applications to prevent lashes from sticking to the tool. Keep lashes dry for 24 hours.

Using Velour Lash Adhesive for Daily Wear (above natural lashes)

Step 1:
Apply a thin layer of Velour Lash Adhesive to the lash band and wait 30 seconds. Pro Tip: Our formula actually turns from white to a blue sheen so you'll know it's ready to apply!

Step 2:
Using the Velour Too Easy Lash Applicator, place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible and adjust as necessary. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for remaining clusters.

If you've never applied lash clusters before, don't worry, we're here to help! Like with everything else, practice makes perfect with lash application. You can find more detailed instructions on our How to Apply page.

Using Velour Multi-Day Lash Bond

To remove Velour-Xtensions™, apply an oil-based makeup remover on a cotton pad or directly onto your lashes. Gently massage the pad over your eyelids and lashes for a few seconds to loosen the bond before sliding off Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters. Tip: Be patient - if the lash clusters don’t immediately slide off, apply more remover and wait several minutes. Do not pull.

Using Velour Lash Adhesive

Gently remove lash clusters by peeling from the outer to inner corner of your eye.

Velour Lash Adhesive can be removed with makeup remover (cleansing balm, micellar water or Velour's Lash Clean Oil-Free Makeup Remover).

FAQs

It depends on how you want to apply them! If you'd like to get multi-day wear, you will need the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool and Multi-Day Lash Bond to apply our lash clusters. If you're looking for daily wear, we recommend the Velour White Latex-Free Lash Adhesive or Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner, and the Velour Too Easy Lash Applicator.

The volume and thickness of the fibres. Classic is the most natural-looking, Hybrid gives you a full lash look, and Volume is the most glam.

There are no rules when it comes to our clusters as they're completely customizable! The three columns in the box indicate the length of the cluster, from left to right, the clusters are Short (10mm), Medium (12mm), and Long (14mm). Use the same length clusters for a natural, round lash (e.g. 12, 12, 12) or incrementally longer clusters for a flared, cat-eye lash (e.g. 10, 12, 14).

If you're applying them with the Multi-Day Lash Bond for several day wear (underneath the natural lash), we recommend only applying Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters once. If you choose to wear them above the lash line, with a traditional lash glue, like Velour White Latex-Free Lash Adhesive or Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner, you can reuse them.

No, the lash extensions are not waterproof. We recommend waiting 24 hours after applying the lash extensions before getting them wet or exposing them to steam. When taking a shower or washing your face, please avoid rubbing your eyes. If you do get them wet, or the clusters become loose, allow them to dry, and then re-fuse them with the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to keep them secure.
