If you've never applied lashes before, don't worry, we're here to help! Like with everything else, practice makes perfect with lash application. You can find more detailed instructions on our How to Apply page.

PREPARE YOUR LASHES

Feel free to apply your makeup as usual! We suggest curling your lashes and applying a light coat of mascara to support the lashes throughout the day.

We recommend using Velour Pretty Big Deal Mascara.

Gently remove lashes from the tray. Toggle the band back and forth to ensure the lash isn’t stiff for application.

Pro Tip: Before you apply false lashes for the first time, practice your placement (especially if you plan on wearing them for a special event).

STEP 1

Option A: Using Velour Lash Adhesive: Apply a thin layer to the lash band and wait 30 seconds. Pro Tip: Our formula actually turns from white to a blue sheen so you'll know it's ready to apply!

Option B: Using Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner: Starting with one eye, apply from inner to outer corner of the lash line. Apply the false lash while the eyeliner is still wet.

Option C: Using the Velour Glue & Go Pen: Apply the Velour Glue & Go Pen directly onto your natural lash line, from inner to outer corner.

Pro Tip: Lash & Go and Glue & Go dry down pretty quickly, so we recommend doing this on one eye at a time.

What is unique about Effortless Short lashes?

They have short-length premium vegan fibres for a flattering natural look. These will add more volume to your natural lashes, rather than length, which is perfect for wearing with glasses or if you have monolid eyes.

What else do I need to apply Effortless Short lashes?

For the easiest lash application experience, use the Velour Too Easy Lash Applicator. To apply false lashes, you can use either the White Latex-Free Lash Adhesive (traditional lash glue), the Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner (black eyeliner with adhesive properties) or the Glue & Go Pen (clear lash adhesive eyeliner).

What if the lash is too long for my eye?

If you happen to have a shorter natural lash line, we recommend trimming the lash from the outer corner. We suggest taking off very small pieces at a time so you don't remove too much of the band.

Can I wear Velour lashes everyday?

You can wear our lashes as often as you like (25+ times with proper care)! Just remember to take proper care of them and clean them every few uses.

How do I know which lashes are best for my eye shape?

My inner corner keeps lifting, what should I do?

Always toggle the band before applying the lash, (this will make it more flexible), and ensure you have enough adhesive along the band - you can always add an extra dot on the corner! You should also be careful with your placement - don't place the lash too close to the inner corner of the eye - ensure there is some space between the end of the lash band and inner corner. If it's too close to the inner corner, blinking can disrupt the lash and make it uncomfortable.
