Application & Removal

How to Apply & Remove

Prepare Your Lashes: Begin by thoroughly cleaning your natural lashes - no oils, mascara, concealer, skincare products or makeup of any kind around the eye area. We recommend using Velour Lash Clean.

Application starts from the outer corner of your eye.

Step 1: Apply Multi-Day Lash Bond (A) across the top of Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Cluster and (B) to underside of natural lashes, ensuring not to touch the skin. Wait until tacky (10-15 seconds). Pro Tip: Focus bond application on the base of your natural lashes, close to the waterline on the underside of your upper lashes.

Step 2: Once the bond has become tacky, use the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to place the Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Cluster on the tacky underside of your natural lashes, just above the waterline. Pro Tip: Lift the eyelid up with your fingertips to help the lash band reach the base of your lashes. Use the angled tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to gently press Velour-Xtension™ Lash Clusters into the root of your natural lashes.

Step 3: Using the Too Real Lash Extension Tool, follow the curvature of your lash line to clamp down and fuse the Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters and natural lashes together to secure. Pro Tip: Wipe the Too Real Lash Extension Tool in-between cluster applications to prevent lashes from sticking to the tool.

Repeat steps 1 - 3 for remaining clusters.

Next, use the medium lash cluster (Medium, 12mm) from the middle row. Repeat steps 1-3. Finally, use the short lash cluster (Short, 10mm) from the top row. Repeat steps 1-3.

Keep lashes dry for 24 hours.

Removal

To remove Velour-Xtensions™, apply an oil-based makeup remover on a cotton pad or directly onto your lashes. Gently massage the pad over your eyelids and lashes for a few seconds to loosen the bond before sliding off Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters. Tip: Be patient - if the lash clusters don’t immediately slide off, apply more remover and wait several minutes. Do not pull.

Care

How to Care

Keep lashes dry for 24 hours after application.

Do not bump or tug Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters if they get wet. Wait until they are full dry before brushing, re-fusing or touching them.

Use Lash Clean Oil-Free Makeup Remover, or an oil-free cleanser to gently clean your Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters. Apply to a lash brush, like the velour lash wand, and gently comb through Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters. This can be done from both the underside and top side of the lash clusters.

For long-lasting lashes, use the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool to re-fuse and secure your Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters morning and evening. If they get wet, wait until they are fully dry before re-fusing them.

To maintain your fluttery lashes, brush them out occasionally with a lash brush, like the Velour Too Clean Lash Wand.

To maintain your curl, use the Velour Too Extra Lash Curler to reshape them.

Be gentle. When removing Velour-Xtension™ Lash Clusters from the box, do so gently, using the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool. Do not force.

Warning: Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Do not freeze.

FAQs

No, this lash bond was created specifically for our lash clusters and is designed to be applied underneath your natural lashes. We do not recommend using it with other false lashes, individual lashes or other lash extensions.

If you applied to much of the lash bond during application, use an oil-based makeup remover to remove the bond and start again on that eye. For more info on proper removal, check out our How to Remove section!

Other lash adhesives are daily-wear glues that will adhere a false lash for under 24hrs - daytime, evening or special occasions. The Multi-Day Lash Bond is a long-wear adhesive that bonds Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters for several days with proper care.

No, the lash bond is not waterproof. We recommend waiting 24 hours after applying the lash extensions before getting them wet or exposing them to steam. When taking a shower or washing your face, please avoid rubbing your eyes. If you do get them wet, or the clusters become loose, allow them to dry, and then re-fuse them with the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to keep them secure.

This can disrupt the lash bond from drying properly, which will prevent you from getting the most wear out of your lash clusters. If you do get them wet before the 24hr mark and the clusters have loosened, you can re-fuse them with the Too Real Lash Extension Tool. Ensure you do this in a dry, non-humid environment (i.e. not in the shower). If a cluster or multiple clusters have completely fallen off due to getting wet within the first 24 hours, then we recommend you begin the application process again.

Individual results may vary, depending on lifestyle, activity levels, natural oiliness around the eye area, and level of care. Velour-Xtensions™ offer multi-day wear with proper application and care when using Velour Multi-Day Lash Bond. For best results, follow our Application and Care instructions for Velour-Xtensions™. Velour Multi-Day Lash Bond is dermatologist-tested to provide a gentle experience and has been developed without unnecessary harsh ingredients or chemicals. It successfully passed clinical testing for skin sensitization confirming that most people will not react to our formula.
