I purchased 2 of these kits as gifts for my friend and my sister. They LOVED it! Great quality and was packaged really well
They are so beautiful. Highly recommended!!!
I took the plunge with my very first purchase ever of mink lashes with this gorgeous limited addition box set knowing it won’t be around forever. Since I’m a neat freak and own a trillion makeup products, I jumped on this for the storage factor knowing I can reuse this for future lash storage after the original ones it comes with bites the dust setting the new ones in its own name place as each lash is labeled above. I was not expecting this beautiful display box to be so large and SO well made! It’s beautiful right down to the gold detail! It’s not cheaply made! And I had no idea the pop out mirror has a USB connection to be used with blue tooth as well! Plus a switch to turn it on and off. Best part is it came with a set of 4 full sized batteries for it! The box is worth something alone and with the regular cost of one pair of lashes, for 10, plus the full size applicator tool and full sized glue- you are getting those 3 things for free! But for me the display box makes this a major deal as I can’t imagine the extra clutter I’d have with 10 individual lash boxes! I just love the option of having different looks from daytime natural to va va voom! Evening wow as there was so many I wanted to try and couldn’t decide on just two, plus I needed the applicator tool, tired of trying to use tweezers or my hands. Now the only negatives are, I’d read a few times about certain lash glues not being able to withstand freezing temperatures in flights or in this case apparently shipping in the winter. It’s been past -20 in Calgary and my box was shipped from Toronto. When I opened it the package was cold to the touch and same with my glue tube. Meaning it must’ve been in freezing temperatures to still be cold. So upon checking the glue swashing it on the top of my hand. Nothing was coming out. I kept trying, nothing. I’d heard cold temps dry out the glue somehow. Must be a chemical reaction. Disappointed, velour should know this could be an issue and either pack it better or give you a coupon to get it later or something. I let them know as soon as I got the package and noticed and they asked for photos so hopefully they will rectify the issue. Also, as a tip to velour, the still photos of the one eye model really helped me decide and see the lashes I was getting and I love the idea of the real time video, but instead I would’ve liked a more close up view combined with the zoomed out view of the girl modeling them and less moving in abs out of the shot because it was tedious zooming in on her when she was moving in and out of the shot. It would be WAY more helpful if the video wasn’t moving off her abs it was just still and zoomed up closer to her face with her making more subtle movements just opening abs closing her eyes with no hand or head moving. I wanted to see the lashes not all the other needless stuff. Thx! Hope this feedback helps the viewers choose better! -And a tip to your other buyers, be patient, try the bold lashes and stand way back and take pics on Snapchat to really see how these bolder lashes make your eyes pop. Also I’ve just started applying my lashes of all types UNDER my eyelashes NOT on top. You might think it would feel uncomfortable or not last, BUT that’s NOT the case!! With a bit of patience and a water proof transparent glue, they easily stick on your inner lid base or base of your lashes WITHOUT irritating your eyes or getting in your eyes. You CANT feel them on. You still have to cut them down and wait till the glue is tacky, but the result is that they look WAY more natural and you can’t see any glue or fake lash line. Amazing!!! You can go liquid liner free! When I do it next I will upload a pic on here to convert everyone.
