Spooky season is right around the corner and we’re counting down the days until Halloween! We love the opportunity to experiment with eye makeup, from spiderweb eyes, to colorful cut creases, to graphic illustrations. Read on for our top 7 Halloween eye makeup ideas.
1. Scream
This Scream-inspired eye makeup look by @beautybyablondie is everything Halloween should be. It’s gory AND glam. Start with deep red and maroon shadows, using darker shades on the inner and outer corner. Top with red glitter and a glam lash, like Velour Vegan Luxe Can’t Be Tamed. Then, use a fine-tipped liquid liner like Lash & Go Eyeliner to outline your illustration.
2. Psychedelic Spiderweb
If you love color and glitter, this is the look for you! Use your favorite shadows to create a smokey eye, top with glitter, then use white liquid liner to draw your spiderweb (if this is new for you, do this with a pencil liner first)! @caitycat_meow finished the look with Velour Plant Fibre Wildflower.
3. Ghosts & Ghouls
We love this Halloween mashup by @ashleymelisamua featuring all of our spooky season favorites – ghosts, snakes, bats, bones. You can really personalize this one! Recreate this look with yellow/orange and green tones, adding glitter if that’s your style, and Velour Vegan Luxe Lashes in Secret Weapon.
4. Blood Drops
Have you seen a sharper wing liner? @arletmakeup_ used red and black liner, finished with Velour Vegan Luxe Poker Face Lashes and red and black gems to create this jaw-dropping look. To recreate, we’d recommend using Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner for precise graphic liner and Velour Latex-Free Lash Adhesive to apply the gems!
5. The Puurfect Cat Eye
How cute is this?! @ashleymelisamua used burnt orange tones and gold shimmer as the backdrop for these spooky illustrations. Recreate this look with a jet-black liner, like Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner, and top with a Velour Vegan Luxe Lash.
6. Snatched Bat-Eye
Purple is a classic Halloween eyeshadow choice, but we're in awe of @makeupbystefie’s blending and sharp line on the outer corner. And of course, the bat graphics below the brow bone. Effortless Lash Would I Lie? was the perfect lash choice for this look, as it increases in length and density towards to outer corner, emphasizing the snatched cat eye Stefie created with her eyeshadow.
7. Beetlejuice-Inspired Eye Makeup
Beetlejuice is everywhere this Halloween, and if you’re not up for face paint, this purple and green look may be for you. @graciem241 used light and dark purple shades to create a smoky eye and a bright green liquid liner to make it pop. Make it extra spooky with a hanging spiderweb, using Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner and top with Velour Vegan Luxe Dream Girl Lashes.
