What are Plant-Based False Lashes?
Exactly what they sound like... but better. Vegan and cruelty-free lashes that happen to be made entirely out of plant materials! Our Plant Fibre lashes are made with the highest-quality hemp-derived fibres. They’re super soft, beautifully curled, and have a precise taper at the tips, so they look and feel ultra-luxurious. And unlike most synthetic fibres which can look blunt and fake, this lash material is wispy, layered, and very natural-looking.
How are Plant Fibre lashes Sustainable?
As our most planet-positive false lash collection, everything from band to fibre is entirely plant-based. With careful product development and innovation, we wanted to ensure that these falsies were long-lasting and reusable. So, after countless hours of testing, we’re proud to say that our plant-based lashes can be reused 20+ times with proper care!
Not only is the collection vegan and cruelty-free, but the packaging is also fully recyclable. By switching to our paperboard packaging and eco-friendly soy-based inks, we have removed approximately 13,727kg of unrecycled plastics per year from our oceans and landfills.
Are Plant-Based Eyelashes Comfortable?
Yes! Our Plant Fibre eyelashes are handmade on a thin, flexible, black cotton-thread band which means they’re super comfy to wear all day long. They’re one of our most lightweight lash collections, so if you’re new to lashes or looking for something you can wear for extended periods of time, this is the collection for you!
Are Hemp-Derived Lashes Easy to Use for Beginners?
At Velour, we pride ourselves on making lash application simple. Our Plant Fibre false lashes can be applied in just 3 steps. The bands are full length, which means they’ll need to be trimmed before application to fit your unique gorgeous eye shape and size.
Step 1: Using the Velour Too Sharp Lash Scissors, measure and trim the false lash to fit your natural lash line. Ensure to trim from the outer corner, not the inner.
Step 2:
Using Velour Lash Adhesive: Apply a thin layer to the lash band and wait 30 seconds.
Using Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner: Starting with one eye, apply from inner to outer corner of the lash line. Apply the false lash while the eyeliner is still wet.
Using the Velour Glue & Go Pen: Apply the Velour Glue & Go Pen directly onto your natural lash line, from inner to outer corner.Step 3: Using the Velour Too Easy Lash Applicator, place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible and adjust as necessary. Repeat steps on the other eye.
